Things i’ve made
How I got here
My love for making things started at an early age. Growing up in Texas, I used to make up recipes in my mother’s kitchen and serve my “experiments” to my family. (My mother was always gracious--my five siblings, not so much.)
In high school, I started making music and—although I've done my best to hide it—there is probably evidence on the internet that I was a founding member of an almost-band. Music led me to Nashville for college, where I discovered a love for communication and design.
After graduating with a degree in design and web development, I made the jump into the advertising world in New York City, where I produced a wide variety of projects—from unconventional digital experiences and branded content to traditional advertising mediums, such as print and broadcast. I am currently a MS Fellow with the IDM program at MIT.
I think best with a pencil in my hand, strive to learn from everyone I encounter, and never take myself too seriously. I hope to give a TED talk some day—Here's to doing something worth talking about.
PLaces I’ve been
